What the code carries
The event itself is inside the code, so it works offline. Recent iPhone and Android camera apps usually offer Add to calendar, but some cameras and scanner apps show it as plain text. Test on the phones your guests use, or switch to the Google Calendar link.

Want scan counts and an editable destination? Make it a free dynamic code. Want it in your own image? Make a picture code.

Add a title and a start time to see the code.

Static · no expiry · PNG, SVG and PDF all built in your browser

1

Enter the title, start and end, time zone, place and a short note.

2

Choose whether the code carries the event itself or a Google Calendar link.

3

Download it and put it on invitations, posters and tickets.

Questions

Does it work on iPhone and Android?+

Recent iPhone and Android camera apps usually offer to add an iCalendar event, but some cameras and scanner apps show it as plain text. The Google Calendar link opens on any phone, and saving it needs a Google account.

How are time zones handled?+

You pick the zone the times are written in and the code stores them in UTC. Each phone then shows the event in its own local time, so travelers see the right hour.

Why is my event code so dense?+

The whole event is inside the code, and every character adds modules. Keep the description to a line or two, or put details on a web page and link it.

Can I change the date after printing?+

No. A static code holds the destination itself, so it cannot be edited or counted after printing. For a code you can change and track, make a free dynamic code at ariaqr.com/free-qr-code-generator.
